CRANE-200273 | |
NSWC Crane has developed, patented, and fielded a lightweight, stand-off bracket for demolition charges. It quickly and securely allows a charge to be placed by hand on various surfaces or structures including flat surfaces. The adjustable bracket allows for up to ten inches of displacement between the charge and a target and can support charges of seven or more pounds. The bracket is collapsible for easy storage and carrying. The bracket is attached to ferrous materials through a set of rare earth metals imbedded in the base of the bracket, and a skirt of high strength textile material provides attachment to other surfaces through a set of hooks and rings. | |
