The U.S. Navy seeks a partner for licensing and collaboration on an electronic testing device including methods for testing and correlating testing processes. Testing electronic equipment and collecting the data from the tests for evaluation and analysis is important in many industries. The tests can return indications of a successful test or a test failure. However, such results can fail to tell the complete story about sustained performance of the devices when they are fielded. NSWC Crane has developed and patented a computer implemented system for testing an electronic device with a simulated everyday working environment and monitoring the event log for exceptions. The system is designed to detect failures induced through environmental test conditions by simulating tasks that would be common in the field and monitoring it for warnings or errors. |
