There are different types of electrical connector devices used for joining electrical circuits as an interface using a mechanical assembly, but there is a need for methods that allow coupling triaxial cables to a device. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), has developed and patented an electrical adapter for coupling a triaxial cable to a device having multiple banana terminals and a method for using the same. This technology includes a triaxial connector, a first single-conductor connector, and a second single-conductor connector. The triaxial connector includes a center connector, a middle connector, and an outer connector portion guaranteeing the electrical communication through conductors. Advantages: -Provides an electronic device having a first and second banana jack terminal -Can be used with a triaxial cable Potential Applications: -Electronic Testing -Electrical Equipment |
