CRANE-100923
An accessory mounting system can be used for different applications depending upon the use of a vehicle. Conventional roll bar mounting systems often pinch and deform the roll bar during installation and operation.

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), has developed and patented an accessory mounting apparatus for vehicles that provides a support for accessories, such as cameras, surveying equipment, illumination devices, and weapons, without deforming the roll bar during installation and operation.

Advantages:
-Protects the integrity of the roll bar during installation and operation
-Provides enhanced stability of the accessory
-Can be operated coupled to laterally spaced uprights of a vehicle roll bar

Potential Applications:
-Military
