CRANE-99248
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has patented technology for a system that can detect, track, relay, or manipulate radio frequency (RF) signals in an operational environment. The system picks up on RF signals and is able to place their location on a digital map. The system allows for the versatility to provide information in a dynamic environment by enabling the user to use a small amount of mobile equipment to triangulate and manipulate RF signals. It can also provide video or audio feeds of the area, jam signals, or inject RF "noise" to interrupt communication.

Advantages:
-RF mapping and signal relay for areas with no infrastructure
-Communications relay
-Video and audio reconnaissance

Potential Applications:
-First responders
-Security agencies
-Home/property security
-Tracking devices
-Urban planning
